Day 1:Arrival day in Kathmandu

Namaste & Welcome!

You are hearty welcome in our beautiful land of Himalayas. Representative from our company ‘Asia Outfitter Inc’ will welcome you in Tribhuwan International Airport and guide you to settle in your hotel. After refreshed at hotel we will give detail about our trek and itinerary. We will take you for the welcome dinner in one of our typical Nepali restaurant which is in the heart of Kathmandu after briefing our program.

After having hearty breakfast we will guide you for amazing UNESCO world heritage sites tour in the Kathmandu valley. We will take you to visit highlights part of Kathmandu valley. These include the sacred Hindu temple ‘Pashupati Nath’ which is one the most important holy place in Nepal where thousands of worshippers comes to pray with lots of believes. You can observe the surrounding area of Pashupati Nath temple where you can observe cremating body in the bank of the Bagmati River.

After visiting Pashupati Nath we will drive to visit Bouddhanath Stupa which is another most important pilgrimage center for Buddhists. Here, we can see numbers of monkeys jumping over the tree with chattering sounds, melodious chanting sound which makes you to feel calm and relax, colorful flags are flattering. Now, we will drive towards traditional town named as Bhaktapur which is known as the city of Devotees. We can observe the medieval such as courtyards, square. Bhaktapur is rich in its culture, famous for wooden works, metal and stone artworks. We will leave this vibrant town after having some traditional lunch. Now, it’s time to drive back to Kathmandu and prepare for next day with your travel consultants. Stay overnight at hotel.

    After breakfast, we will transfer you to domestic airport to fly to Lukla in the (2,800m/ 9,186ft). After flying we can see panoramic view of the White Mountains, breathtaking scenic beauty to Lukla airport which is the most wonderful air way in Nepal. You will have some tea break, while the guide sort out and divide the baggage (to be carried by porters). According to the arrival time at Lukla our guide will manage lunch place.

    Trek towards Phakding will begin with most beautiful number of himal, some Sherpa farm through our trek. We follow the trail to Dukh koshi River and onto Thado Koshi, where you can have delicious local lunch with stunning view of Kusum Kangaru (6,369M/20,890ft) crossing, a short suspension bridge. Now, you will continue our trek to the Ghat village and again 1 and half hour trek brings you to Phakding village for night stay at lodge. You will have time to observe and stroll around the village and get some local knowledge.

      This morning wakeup early and begins trek towards the Namche Bazzar. We walk through amazing pine forest after crossing suspension bridge over the Dudh-Koshi is full of pleasure. Walk towards the Namche Bazzar is little bit tough because of uphill but it is really wonderful walk which makes your trek enyoyable as well inspiring. After re-crossing the suspension bridge and reaches at Monjo where we find the entrance gate of the Sagarmatha National Park.

      Today you will cross five suspension bridges; Hillary Bridge is the last one to cross. It is an uphill trek to Namche Bazzar and overnight stay in Namche Bazzar.

        We may have full day rest today for acclimatization or step around the local shop, observe the stunning view of Namche Bazzar or take some time for relax choice is your own. After a while, we will trek some distance to visit the Sherpa museum where we can get chance to have some knowledge about Sherpa cultures, history of mountaineering and their traditions. We trek up to visit luxury Everest view hotel which is one of the highest- placed hotels in the world. We can view the admirable scenic beauty of nature from the hotel Everest and stroll back to hotel overnight.

          Our Trek up to Thame will be a peace with excellent views of mountains and picturesque villages through the way to Thame. This village is one of the most famous for mountain climbers monastery and surrounding valley. After 4-5 hrs of walk you will reach Thame valley. You will stay overnight at a local tea house in Thame.

            Wake up with this beautiful morning and after having some breakfast we will begin our trek towards the northern part following the Dudh-Koshi river upto Lugden village for overnight stay at lodge. Through the trek we can see small settlements, yak farming, some tea houses and basic typical Nepalese food. After 3-4 hours of walk we will reach at Lugden.

              Today, we will have one of the highly adventurous trekking in Khumbu region. After breakfast, we must prepare with the gloves, hat, boot, sunglasses, gaiter, down jacket and crampons with sticks. Now the trek will begin with long Glacier walk with steep uphill up to Renjo La pass where we will enjoy the sights and views of the Gokyo valley including Everest Himalayas. Enjoy the successful time at Gokyo. Overnight stay at Gokyo after 8-9 hours of walk.

                We will spend the whole day exploring the beauty of Gokyo surrounding. We can either hike up to Gokyo Ri for an amazing view of splash a sunrise top of the mountain, close view of snow-capped mountains or walk around the village. Approx 2 hours of climb we will step on the Gokyo Ri’ where we are going to spend some time to observe incredible mountain vista and we trek back to Gokyo village. From the summit of Gokyo Ri we can see magnificient view of four- 8,000meter high peaks: Mt. Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu and Everest which gives us the most memorable and unbelievable lifetime experience. After some time we will have some breakfast at the base of Gokyo Ri, where we can find a small Hamlet of a few stone houses which is one of the highest settlements in the world then full day rest and stroll back to Gokyo village for night stay.

                  We had an amazing time at Gokyo valley. Today, we will trek towards the Thaknak for overnight stay. Way through the trek is steep and we must pass over from the glacier so we need to be careful this day due to the tough and challenging walk. 3-4 hours of walk we reach to Thaknak. We stay overnight in a basic lodge.

                    Today is going to the toughest trek for us to cross the Cho La at 5,367m height. We will start our walk early in the morning. Actually the pass is not so difficult in itself but due the glacier and steep on the eastern side it makes our walk too challenging. Stunning views of the Ama dablam over a range of mountains on the south direction is the most amazing. Now, we reach at Dzongla for overnight stay at teahouse. We can observe the panoramic view of the nature from the high above.

                      Today the trail diverts towards Gorakshep. After 2hours of trekking in a rocky and windy path we will reach at the Gorakshep for night stay. We are lucky with beautiful view of Mt. Pumori and Mt. Nuptse. Now we will begin our walk up to Kalapathar which is a small rocky peak from here we can see fantastic view of Everest which is really unbelievable and something that you cherish forever. We have the exiting feelings and somehow thrilling types of feelings after we arrive at the top. When we arrive at the top of the world! At that moment we have some kind of proud feelings from our inner heart. After observing the beauty of Himalayas we will stroll back to Gorakshep for our overnight stay.

                        After breakfast our adventure continues towards Everest Base Camp and the Khumbu ice- fall. The way from Gorakshep can be misleading so we must follow the lead Sherpa. Due to the movements of Glacier the trail changes every year, walk will be more tough and challenging. Till we reach the base camp, the trek passes through over rocky dunes, streams and debris. It takes 3-4 hours of walk to reach the Base Camp. We have some grand time to observe and back to Gorakshep for overnight stay.

                          After collecting life time experience in the Himalayas with dramatic view, amazing looks of the Everest then stroll back to Gorakshep and re- track to Lobuche for overnight stay.

                            Wake up in the early morning. After having some breakfast trekking via Khumbu glacier to Kongma La Base camp and trek is going to be difficult. After observing the Kongma La, we can see cairn wrapped in prayer flags, –marks of the pass. Then our trek move towards Chhukung to Dingboche where we can see small settlements. Overnight stay at Dingboche.

                              The walk towards Tyangboche is a beautiful down and a middle hill of sounding rhododendron jungle. The walk is so pleasurable all the way to Tyangboche. It is one of the most beautiful places in the Himalaya. Beautiful Buddhist monastery is another amazing site to observe in Tyangboche. Tyangboche lies in high altitude, pretty top between rims of the forest, majestic peak Mt. Ama Dablam and Mt. Everest. From Tyangboche we can see nature beauty of panoramic Mountain View; chances to see wild animals, Himalayan birds.

                                Trek down to Phungithanka a small settlements with some tea houses. The walk towards Namche Bazzar leads down through the forest path, rhododendron, blue pines and birch trees which makes our trek so enjoyable and fantastic. On the way to Namche we have to cross the suspension bridge over the Dudh Koshi River. Overnight stay at Namche Bazzar.

                                  After 17 days of exploring top natural beauty of the Himalayas today we are having our last day trek towards Lukla, firstly we descend the distance route before cross the bridge and walk to Monju and stop in Phakding for local Nepalese typical lunch. After then we trek back with scenic beauty of green forests, wonderful Mountain View and local Sherpa village. Arrival in Lukla, we can walk around to view nature of Lukla for some time and your flight ticket will re-confirm by our guide. This evening we are going to have wonderful evening celebration with hearty dinner and overnight at hotel.

                                    Due to the wind problem in the afternoon flight time to Kathmandu are scheduled for morning. Flight will delay sometime because of unsuitable weather. Anyway we will fly back to Kathmandu and our guide will safely transfer you to your hotel. Now, you can take rest after a long trek and stay overnight at Kathmandu.

                                      Today leisure day, you can enjoy full day at your own choice either you want to make this day wonderful by observing Thamel; last day shopping by your own cost, or just you want relax at hotel. If you want to extend your extra trip with us on additional cost then you are warmly welcome. In the evening we will meet then have some farewell dinner and overnight at Kathmandu.

                                        Until your departure; you can buy some gifts for your family members or some friends. Today you are free for your last minute shopping if you wish. After then we will drop you at the Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure flight to your onwards destination.
