Mardi Himal Trek is one of the impressive, adventurous and newest trekking routes in the western Annapurna region of Nepal. This picturesque adventurous trek covers 12 amazing days where you can get great opportunity to explore the beautiful magical land of Nepal such as stunning view of the Annapurna Mountain from different perspectives. Spectacular glacial valleys, dense rhododendron forest, different types of vegetation are the beauty of nature which you can observe during the trail.

You feel so amazing when you can get chance to view the fantastic snow capped mountain range with glimpse of sunrise on it. This trail provides the wonderful alpine scenic beauty and opportunity to explore the unique local cultures of ethnic groups such as Tamang and Gurung. Although different groups of people with different culture they never try to discriminate eachother. You will find “unity in diversity” in this locality which makes you to feel amazing due to the mutual understanding between different cultures.

First day is your arrival day at Tribhuvan international airport. You will be transferred safely to your categorized hotel by our company representatives. Second day is your sightseeing day in ancient mystical city of Kathmandu with our well experienced and knowledgeable guide. Third day, drive to Pokhara by Delux bus then after adventurous trek will start towards the magical land of Nepal. Trail will be the most intresting as you see the 7th highest peak Mt.Dhaulagiri, 8th highest peak Mt. Manaslu and 10th highest peak Mt. Annapurna l in the world through the journey.

Day 1:Arrival day in Kathmandu

Namaste & welcome!

Welcome to the beautiful land of Himalayas. You will see the wonderful views when you fly over the Kathmandu valley. After your arrival in the mystical city of Nepal, our company ‘Asia Outfitter Inc’ representatives will be waiting for your welcome and drop you to your categorized hotel in Kathmandu by private vehicle to refresh yourself from your long flight. Once you have settled in, our company representatives will brief you about your trek. In the evening, we will take you to the tourist hub of Thamel for the welcome dinner in the Nepalese restaurant which offers you Nepali dishes.

This morning offers you the dazzling atmosphere in the spiritual city of Kathmandu. Kathmandu is known as the ‘city of temples’ where you can see lots of temples inside the narrow streets. It’s a great time to explore the narrow streets with colorful markets, Kathmandu Durbar Square where you can observe the ancient royal palace, and amazing sights around the Kathmandu valley. Inside the durbar square you will get chance to see more then 60 temples and the place where the living goddess ‘Kumari’ live in.

After exploring the durbar square we will take you to another famous Buddhists pilgrimage named ‘Swayambhu’. From where, we will see the panoramic view of the Kathmandu valley. Then we proceed towards the famous Hindu temple ‘Pashupatinath’ where you can observe the criminating body near the Bagmati River. Then after, we will drop you to your hotel for night stay.

After breakfast, we will begin our drive by deluxe bus to the fabulous land of Pokhara. This is one of the famous cities of Nepal in the context of tourism perspectives. This city is renowned for its natural beauty such as magnificent Lake ‘Phewa’, where we can get chance to boating, an amazing view of the Machhapuchhre Himal.

Enroute, we follow the bank of Trishuli River with terraced farming which makes our journey wonderful. After arriving Pokhara, firstly we check into our categorized hotel then get freshed, take a moment for relax or you want to stroll around the city choice is your own. After getting relax, we continue our journey to visit Lakeside, there we can explore the fantastic market of Pokhara thenhave some lovely dinner and get back to our hotel for good sleep.

Today is the first day of our trekking from Kande to Deurali. After breakfast, we will start our drive to the village of Kande from where we will start our trail to the Deurali for overnight stay. Exploring the waterfall and varieties of colorful flowers through the trek gives you more energy to walk. Due to the pine as well rhododendron forest makes our trail more surprising and pleasurable. After 4 hours of walk we will reach to the village of Deurali.

The rising sun in the early morning provides an amazing view of snowcapped Himalayas. Glimpse of sun sparkled over the Annapurna I, Machhapuchhre, Huinchuli and many more mountains which are one of the most beautiful scenes that we ever experienced in our life.

After having lovely breakfast, we will start our trail to Kokar forest camp. We can observe local people travelling ups and downs, along the way we experienced the most wonderful forest walk. Through the walk small settlements with their beautiful smile and their farms; makes our journey more interesting and enjoyable. Finally, we reach at Kokar forest camp after 6 hours of pleasurable walk. From, where we can explore the breathtaking views of  the nature. Stay overnight here at a basic guest house.Elevation: (8,202ft/2,500m)

Trekkers will experience Mardi Himal Trail as a short but fantastic trail. Due to the steep climp, trail may be little bit more challenging. This climp takes us out of the forest towards the High Camp followed by grassy land. Through the route we will explore the yak kharkas; high pastures area where people bring their animals for grazing. After 5 hours of walk we will reach at the High point for lunch. After having local delicious lunch, we will explore natural beauty of its surrounding then back to our lodge for good sleep.Elevation: (11,745ft/3,580m)

Have an early breakfast and trek to the highest point of our trek Mardi Himal Base Camp. We will feel so exciting to be there in the high elevation of out trek Mardi himal base camp which offers a close-view of glamorous Mt. Machhapuchhre ( also known as Fish tail Mountain). After arriving at Mardi Himal Base Camp we can see breathtaking views of Annapurna Himalayan range including south face of vigorious Annapurna which gives heavenly experience to all the adventurous seekers. We will begin our trek downhill back to Badal Dada after spending some lovely minutes at Base Camp for capturing the charming view of nature.Elevation: (Mardi Himal Base Camp 14,764ft/4,500m) (Badal Dada 10,531ft/3210m)

After a relaxed breakfast, we will begin our walk through the shade of the wonderful dense forest inorder to reach the Kalimati. Along the route we will follow the glacial-fed rivers, varieties of eco-zones. This nature’s walk makes our trek mind-blowing. After 6 hours of walk we will reach Kalimati for good sleep. Elevation: (5,250ft/1,600m)

Today we are going to explore the pretty village named as Lwang Valley. After refreshed, we will continue our trail to descend towards the nice place where we can get good local food with the smiley faces. Along the route we pass through the amazing pasture land and farming areas. Approx. 6 hours we will reach the heavenly place for night sleep where beautiful faces are waiting for our welcome with the simple lodges and interesting hospitality. Elevation: (4,921ft/1,500m)

After having healthy breakfast at Lwang, we will drive back to Pokhara in local transport. Due to the rugged and jumpy road makes you little bit difficult. Approx. 2 hours of drive we will reach Pokhara which is beautiful and one of the most famous city of Nepal our today’s destination. Rest day we can stroll around the city. Exploring the amazing market of Pokhara, boating in Lake Phewa or visit the Buddhist peace pagoda which is the famous site of Pokhara and we can visit the wonderful waterfalls ‘Debis fall’ (one of the mystical sites of Pokhara). Elevation: (2,713ft/827m)

After having a hearty breakfast in Pokhara, we will catch our early morning bus to Kathmandu which is the thrilling and pleasurable experience over the mountains, Trishuli River, terraced farming, green forest and villages. After arrival at Kathmandu, we will transfer you to your Hotel. Either you can take rest or stroll around the narrow- Street of Kathmandu valley. You can shop if you want or you can explore the market. We will take you for the farewell dinner in the evening and stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu. Elevation: (4,592ft/1,400m)
